"The post‑secondary division of Yeshivas Novominsk was inaugurated in 1988 with the purpose of providing superior Talmudical Yeshiva education to a select corps of young men, chosen on the basis of their deep commitment to advanced Talmudic study and their strict adherence to Torah law, ethics, and ideology. As a Talmudical Yeshiva in the classical tradition of the great Eastern European Yeshivos that existed prior to World War II, Yeshivas Novominsk stresses the need for in-depth, as well as broad study. Students who complete the course of study at the Yeshiva’s undergraduate division are qualified for advanced study at distinguished graduate schools of learning. The curriculum is also designed to qualify its graduates for the Rabbinate, Jewish education, or community leadership. The Yeshiva’s goal is to carry forward a chain of excellence in education and to serve as a center for training outstanding Talmudic scholars."
