  • HVAC: Residential and Light Commercial Technician
    Building Systems, Construction, and Manufacturing

    This program includes 185 hours of intense one-month instructor-led classroom and practical hands-on training. Students learn industry terminology and are prepared to trouble-shoot electrical components, replace failed components, know how to fix and maintain central air conditioning units for residential and light-commercial customers, fix and maintain electric heat, maintain and repair refrigeration equipment, and are able to soft solder, copper braze, and have other skills required for the workplace. Students are prepared and will be required to pass the EPA Exam and will be EPA licensed upon graduation. Class times are Monday to Thursday from 9:00am to 4:00pm and Fridays from 9:00am to 12:00pm, for four weeks.

  • HVAC: Maintenance Technician
    Building Systems, Construction, and Manufacturing

    This program includes 60 hours of intense instructor-led classroom and practical hands-on training. Students learn industry terminology and are prepared to trouble-shoot electrical components, replace failed components, know how to fix and maintain central air conditioning units for residential and light-commercial customers, fix and maintain electric heat, maintain and repair refrigeration equipment, and are able to soft solder, copper braze, and have other skills required for the workplace. Students are prepared and will be required to pass the EPA Exam and will be EPA licensed upon graduation. Class times are Saturday and Sunday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, for three consecutive weekends.

    This program is designed for those individuals who are working during the week and are unable to attend the full-time Monday-Friday course, as well as individuals with prior mechanical or electrical knowledge. No prior mechanical or electrical knowledge is required, but it will be helpful to the student if he or she possesses it.
