    The Manufacturing Management certificate is a workplace-centered program designed to meet the increasing demand for management skills in a production-based industrial environment. The program content provides an educational base that enables employees to meet the demands of modern management within a technological work setting. Graduates will be able to supervise a manufacturing process, manage human and mechanical resources within budgetary constraints, and ensure product quality.

    The Bachelor of Manufacturing Management (BMM) can help you jump-start a career in manufacturing or make you eligible for a promotion. This major is open to all students but is focused on people already in the workplace. It is a career-oriented program that prepares graduates to supervise a manufacturing process, manage human and mechanical resources within budgetary constraints, and ensure product quality.

    The online Bachelor of Science in Accounting provides students with both the theoretical and analytical frameworks required to work effectively in public, private, or governmental accounting. It teaches students the fundamental and advanced techniques needed to assist future clients and firms with financial reports. Small class sizes help tailor to the flexibility of completing courses on-campus and online, with the ability to take certification examinations through our campus to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).

    The Certificate in Business Administration (CBA) is a fully online set of eight modules that cover a broad range of areas to provide an overview of key business management processes. Students will gain a strong understanding of business fundamentals, become familiar with the vocabulary of business management, and be introduced to the challenges faced by managers and learn effective strategies to meet those challenges.

An entrepreneurship major not only prepares students to launch and grow their own business, but equips them with highly transferable skills important to any organization.

    This interdisciplinary major provides a well-rounded curriculum that draws heavily from courses in business, general education, management, marketing, and accounting. It is designed to help students understand the dimensions of performance and risk relevant to financial services within a company; assess consumer financial needs; describe and apply financial concepts, theories, and tools; and prepare personal financial plans.

    This Finance Certificate focuses on tools to solve business problems while giving students the insight to understand financial and economic behavior. Classes are offered in accounting, income tax, money and banking, insurance and risk management, estate planning, and investment. Students will develop sought-after problem-solving and quantitative skills that can be applied to a variety of industries, corporations, and financial institutions.

You'll gain valuable knowledge and experience by examining case studies and experiential learning projects, as well as through internship, job shadowing, studying abroad, and networking opportunities, making you workforce-ready. Courses cover diverse topics such as sport law, facility and event management, sport marketing, sport communication, sport finance and economics, sport ethics and leadership, and sport psychology.

    The Taxation Certificate introduces students to a variety of taxes, including individual, farm, business, trusts, estates, payroll, estate, etc. It appeals to non-licensed paid preparers, as well as individuals interested in a new career as a tax preparer. Students take classes in income tax, tax preparation, and accounting systems. The certificate also prepares students to sit for the registered tax return preparer competency test certificate.

  • Tribal Administration & Governance

    This major is designed to prepare students to work for tribes and governmental and non-governmental entities that work closely with tribes. Students may select from two tracks: American Indian Studies or Business Administration. The core requirements for the major include courses focused on tribal sovereignty, tribal governance, and federal Indian law and policy. The curriculum is based on studying the interrelationships between federal and tribal governments and the methods used by Native Nations to administer programs. Students will learn the history of federal-tribal-state relations; learn the roles of tribal leaders and administrators; and learn the laws, policies, and issues that impact tribal governments.

    The IT Management program prepares students for technology, networking, and information management careers in business, finance, telecommunication, government, and education. On top of business and management competencies, graduates will learn the skills necessary to succeed in technology-related positions

  • Applied Health
    Healthcare Administration

    The Bachelor of Applied Health program is designed for professionals working in health care who desire to advance their careers by completing a bachelor's degree. This degree exposes students to management and leadership in health care while building on previous coursework and clinical experience. Typical students may be nurses, laboratory/radiology technicians, or other allied health professionals advancing to supervisory roles or professionals in long-term care facilities needing additional coursework for licensure.

    The undergraduate program in health management prepares graduates to plan, direct, and coordinate medical health services in hospitals, clinics, assisted living facilities, human service organizations, government, and other health-related organizations. Students take an array of general education, technology, management, and health care-related courses, as well as specific courses designed to provide an in-depth knowledge of the health care system, including crucial leadership skills.

    The Online Psychology major is designed for students with an associate of arts (AA) degree or who have completed the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum (MTC). Students get a firm grounding in methods, history, and content areas of psychology, preparing them for graduate study or for paraprofessional positions requiring application of research or human service delivery skills. The online program provides the same curricular requirements and rigor of the on-campus psychology major and is taught by the same faculty.

This program is especially convenient for students who transfer with a certificate, diploma, or associate degree in an occupational field. Students work extensively with academic advisors to develop an individually custom-built program of study, or they can complete the respiratory care program requirements.

    The Certificate in Election Administration is designed with maximum flexibility for experienced individuals already managing state and local election offices, as well as those seeking to become part of the next generation of creative and committed leaders. Whether you are currently working in or considering a career in elections, this rigorous and relevant program will prepare you for advancement in the profession of election administration. The courses are taught by national expert Doug Chapin and other prominent leaders in election administration.

  • Agricultural Business

    The BS in Agricultural Business blends a strong base of agriculture, business, and general education courses while allowing you to choose electives that fit your career interests and goals. The program is also available as a minor and certificate.
