Since 1969, MIAT College of Technology has helped thousands of individuals get industry-relevant skills, experience, and connections it takes to pursue rewarding technical careers. Programs that are offered, are aviation mechanics, energy technology, wind power and HVACR technician. Financial aid is available to those that qualify, and veterans and military are welcomed. The school was named GI Jobs Magazine Military Friendly school for seven years and approved for federal military and veterans education benefits. Job placement is offered, and a online job portal is available for avionics, maintenance, dispatcher, interior specialist and paint jobs.

HVAC Technician
Building Systems, Construction, and ManufacturingBecome a sought-after Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR) Technician as new construction installations and replacement of older systems drive growth in the industry through 2020, according to U.S. Department of Labor reports. As new energy efficient models each the market, and pollution regulations, including the prohibition of older refrigerants, are phased in, more systems will be retrofitted, upgraded, or replaced entirely. HVACR industry applications include a broad range of commercial, specialty and residential climate control systems, commercial refrigeration equipment, transportation technology, and emergency units.

Aviation Maintenance Technology
Truck Driving, Transportation, and MechanicsThe Aviation Programs from MIAT College of Technology provide the hands-on training, practical experience and industry support it takes to pursue a rewarding technical career.
