    Business, Marketing, and Communication

    Waldorf’s A.A. in Business degree allows students to deepen their business knowledge and skills, with an administration focus. Topics include: organizational communication, principles of accounting, principles of marketing, information systems management, and managerial accounting. The administration background provided by this program is applicable to a variety of careers.

    Education and Human Services

    Waldorf’s A.A. in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) degree provides foundational knowledge and initial exposure to the Occupational Safety and Health field. Learners explore a variety of areas within the discipline, including industrial hygiene and occupational, environmental, and health safety. This A.A. degree program is designed for students seeking entry-level exposure to the OSH field, as well as for professionals in industries such as manufacturing, construction, and fire science who are seeking to bolster their risk management background.

    Legal, Law Enforcement, and Emergency Services

    Waldorf’s A.A. in Criminal Justice degree provides the opportunity to explore the three primary areas of the criminal justice system: law enforcement, courts and corrections. Beyond the Introduction to Criminal Justice course, students can select courses of greatest interest to tailor the concentration to their needs or wants.     Legal, Law Enforcement, and Emergency Services

    Waldorf’s A.A. in Fire Science degree is designed with the flexibility to allow students to choose topics of greatest interests. From risk reduction to fire dynamics to investigation, this concentration allows students to explore a broad range of fire science topics.

  • AA Emergency Management - Online
    Legal, Law Enforcement, and Emergency Services

    Waldorf’s A.A. in Emergency Management degree provides foundational knowledge and initial exposure to the Emergency Management field. Learners explore a variety of areas within the discipline, including the four phases of emergency management, terrorism in emergency management, as well as interagency disaster management. This degree program is designed for students seeking entry-level exposure to the emergency management field, as well as for professionals in industries such as fire science, homeland security, and EMT administration who are seeking to bolster their emergency management background.

  • AA Psychology - Online
    Liberal Arts, Humanities, and Literature

    Psychology is the study of behavior and mental processes and is traditionally a popular field of study. Waldorf’s A.A. in Psychology degree provides the opportunity for students to explore this field beyond the general psychology course. Students can learn about social, abnormal or cognitive psychology. For the remaining credits, students may select from a wide variety of psychology courses.

    Waldorf’s Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts combines core studies in the liberal arts with the opportunity for students to select specific areas of concentration. This provides a broad base of knowledge in several subject areas, along with the option to more deeply explore a specific area of interest.

    The Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts Program is not eligible for Federal Student Aid.

  • AA Health Care Management - Online
    Medical Administration

    Waldorf’s A.A. in Health Care Management degree provides functional management knowledge and skills, including an overview of issues and challenges specific to the field of health care delivery. Emphasis of instruction is on developing the managerial knowledge and skills required to work in today’s regulated, complex healthcare field.
