With a population of nearly 1,400 students, Fontbonne is a small university with a big heart—and a national reputation. Inspired by their founders, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, they’ve built their curriculum on a commitment to serving communities in need. Today, their programs in deaf education, special education and speech-language pathology consistently rank among the nation’s best. But regardless of your major or chosen profession, the ethical and academic foundation you receive at Fontbonne will serve you and your communities well into the future.

Founded in 1923, Fontbonne embraces the mission and values established by their founders, opening their doors and hearts to all and encouraging open communication and a commitment to service. Located in Clayton, Mo., a suburb in the heart of the vibrant St. Louis metropolitan area, Fontbonne students, faculty and staff can often be found out in the community, “serving a world in need.” Classes are available on campus and online. Financial aid is available to those who qualify.
