Our degree and diploma courses will prepare you with the hands-on experience valued by employers. Leading up to graduation, you will work with the Career Services Department where you'll benefit from career services assistance in locating employment opportunities.

    In less than one year*, you’ll learn valuable skills from experts in the HVAC industry. Our real-world, hands-on training is designed to provide you with skills and knowledge that will benefit you throughout your career. Our HVAC classes will prepare you to be well-rounded in all things heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.

    What Does Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Involve?

    • Installing HVAC systems

    Cosmetology and Wellness

    The Cosmetology program offered at our campuses combines classroom instruction with real-world salon application. Our cosmetology training classes are small and focused. You will gain the skills, knowledge, and confidence you need to become a professional stylist during the time you spend at Vista College.

    Many employers expect stylists to have a broad range of skills, although some look for stylists who specialize in certain areas such as applying makeup or preparing hair color.     Medical Administration

    Medical Insurance Billing and Coding Technicians play a vital role in healthcare. MIBC technicians are responsible for managing patient records electronically, online (cloud-based platforms), or through paper filing procedures.

    Our MIBC Associate Degree program can prepare students for a career in less than 2 years.*

    At Vista College, our goal is to provide our students with the knowledge, experience and confidence to launch their career as a medical assistant. We do this by providing a variety of educational opportunities for our students such as hands-on training, laboratory experience, lectures and so much more.

  • Pharmacy Technician
    Medicine and Health Care

    The Pharmacy Technician Diploma Program is designed to provide training as an entry-level pharmacy technician within a variety of contemporary pharmacy settings. Students will learn the skills needed to assist licensed pharmacists from topics such as: patient assistance, pharmacy practice settings, processing and handling medications and medication orders, sterile and non-sterile compounding, procurement, billing, reimbursement, inventory management, patient and medication safety, technology and informatics, regulatory issues, and quality assurance. Graduates of the program will be qualified to pursue State Board of Pharmacy licensure as a Pharmacy Technician, and National Pharmacy Technician Board Examination as a Certified Pharmacy Technician. Graduates of program can obtain employment in retail pharmacies, long-term care facilities, hospitals, consulting pharmacies, infusion therapy and compounding pharmacies, mail-order pharmacies, nuclear pharmacies, pharmaceutical wholesalers, clinics, home care settings, and various other settings.
