  • Electrical Lineworker
    Building & Construction

    This 15-week program teaches students how to install, maintain, and repair electrical power lines. Students who complete the Electrical Lineworker program will have several valuable certifications to prove their credentials and the chance to work in industries like electric power generation, transmission and distribution, and power and construction. The EL program is designed to prepare students for entry-level employment in the field of utility power transmission and distribution construction, troubleshooting, and commercial electrical maintenance and repair.

    The Electrical Lineworker program courses prepare you for environments, scenarios, and safety standards you’ll encounter while working in the industry:

    • Climbing in Elevated Work Site (Pole Climbing)
    • Overhead Construction
    • Underground Construction
    • System Design and Operation
    • National Electric Safety Code
    • AC and DC Circuits, and Electric Power

    Completing the lineworker program equips you with essential skills—and certifications. These certifications prove to potential employers that you have the professional skills, knowledge, and attitude for getting the job done right:

    • Bucket Rescue Certification
    • Pole Top Rescue Certification
    • First Aid Certification
    • CPR Certification
    • Climbing Certification
    • OSHA - 10 Certification

  • Electrical Technologies
    Building & Construction

    The Electrical Technologies program prepares students for entry-level job opportunities as an electrician. In as few as 7 months of hands-on training at Tulsa Welding School, you could be trained in the skills you need to maintain and service residential, commercial, and industrial electrical equipment.

    The Electrical Technologies program consists of courses that will prepare you for concepts you’ll need to understand while working in the industry:

    • Basic understanding of electricity
    • Photovoltaic systems (solar)
    • Residential wiring
    • Commercial wiring
    • Motor and lighting devices
    • Understanding the National Electrical Code (NEC) book
