What Are the Quickest Skilled Trades to Learn?

Trade school doesn’t have to take two years or more. There are multiple trade school programs that will get you working in your field quickly and easily, some in less than one year. Some trade school programs take as little as 3 to 6 weeks!

HVAC Technician

HVAC technicians maintain, repair, and install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units for homes and commercial buildings. HVAC involves aspects of other trades such as plumbing and electrical work. In as few as 6 months, you can complete HVAC training and start working in this lucrative industry.

HVAC programs, such as The Refrigeration School’s HVAC program, can be as short as 6 months or as long as 10 months. Day classes and night classes are both available. CDL Truck Driver

Commercial truck driving is by far the fastest trade to learn. In as few as 160 training hours, you can earn your CDL-A tractor trailer driver’s license. So it can take as few as 3-6 weeks of training for full time students.

AT SJVC, you will learn the equivalent of four years of electrician experience in technical understanding, troubleshooting, electrical terminology, and math.
