If you’re planning on school but need to get a job now, this information is good to know! Besides the ones on this list, there are many other companies that have tuition reimbursement or assistance programs. This list includes eleven popular ones.

11 Companies with Tuition Assistance Programs (2021 Wage Information)

T-Mobile: A tuition assistance program is available to employees. If you’re full time, you can receive up to $5,250 per year, and part-time employees can get up to $2,500 per year. To be eligible, you must be with T-Mobile for 90 days. You must maintain a C average to be considered for reimbursement.

AT&T: As an employee, you can get up to $8,000 per year with a lifetime cap of up to $30K. Your classes must be part of the approved programs, and you need to maintain a C grade point average.

Apple: Tuition reimbursement up to $5,250. It needs to be confirmed with your supervisor, and you must maintain a C average to be eligible.

Comcast: The available Education Assistance Program pays up to $5,750 per year and can cover most education costs such as tuition, books, and other supplies.

Best Buy: At the six month, 32 hours per week marker, you could be eligible to receive up to $3,500 per year toward your undergrad, or $5,250 annually for your postgraduate.

Chipotle: You can receive up to $5,250 in tuition reimbursement. There are many other educational perks Chipotle offers.

Home Depot: Once you’ve worked at Home Depot for 90 days, you’ll be eligible for its tuition reimbursement program. Depending on your full- or part-time employee status, you can receive between $1,500-$5,000 per calendar year for approved courses.

Starbucks: The College Achievement Plan partners with Arizona State University (ASU) to cover all tuition for any of the online bachelor degree programs available. Employees must first be eligible for Starbucks benefits before applying to ASU.

Walmart: Walmart will pay 100% of college tuition and books for associates through its Live Better U (LBU) education program.

UPS: Part-time employees of certain UPS locations are eligible to receive tuition reimbursement through the UPS Earn & Learn Program. This program pays up to $25,000 over the lifetime of your schooling, as long as you’re employed. And this benefit starts the day you’re hired.

McDonald’s: Archways to Opportunity is the educational assistance program McDonald’s offers. Your job with the company, and whether you’re full or part time, determines whether you receive $700-$5,250 per year toward tuition.

Discover: The Discover College Commitment, which allows employees to earn a bachelor’s degree through online programs at University of Florida, Wilmington University, and Brandman University. This is available the moment you’re hired at Discover. The cost is fully funded, and there is no limit on this benefit.
