3 Programs

At The Chicago School's College of Nursing and Advanced Health Professions, we know that health care doesn't begin and end with a visit to the doctor, so we've developed vocational, undergraduate, and graduate-level academic programs that reflect this, encompassing various aspects of health care—nursing, hospital administration, policy development, and integrated mental health services.

Available Programs

  • Associate Degree in Nursing - LVN to RN
    Healthcare & Nursing

If you already have your vocational nursing license, the College of Nursing and Advanced Health Professions LVN-RN Transition program can take into account your past education toward an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN). Upon graduation, you will be academically prepared to sit for the NCLEX-RN licensing exam, a requirement to become a licensed registered nurse (RN).

Prepare to help meet this demand through a program that provides hands-on, rigorous training and individual guidance from accomplished faculty. Relying on three components of nursing care—biology, psychology, and sociology—you will be empowered to advance your career by learning the following:

    • Proper patient care
    • Medical terminology
    • Medication administration
    • Body systems
    • Body growth and development
    • Patient care assessment
    • Nursing procedures

Whether it's through bringing health care awareness and services to underserved areas or helping future nurses attain their goals, our nursing graduates are positioned to continue making a difference in their communities long after they have left the classroom.
