    Spartan's FAA Part 147 approved Aviation Maintenance Technology Program has been training skilled aviation technicians for more than 90 years.

    Aviation Maintenance Technology technicians keep aircraft in safe flying condition. They service, repair, and overhaul aircraft components while following stringent regulations set forth by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

    Successful completion qualifies the graduates to take the written, oral and practical tests with the Federal Aviation Administration for the Mechanic's Certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant Ratings. FAA testing consists of three (3) written tests and three (3) parts to an oral and practical (O&P) exam. Spartan College is a Designated FAA Test Center for the written tests.

    Spartan College's Aviation Electronics Technology (AET) program is designed to teach students entry-level technical skills in electronics that are applicable in aviation and other industries.

    Aviation Electronics Technology, also known as Avionics, is a specific electronics field that deals with aircraft electronic equipment. Avionics incorporates equipment, including radios, navigation equipment, autopilot, cables, entertainment systems, and more. It is vital that these systems be in optimal working order and not interfere with one another for the aircraft's safety.

    AET students study FAA regulations and learn the proper use of basic tools and test equipment. Students also study electronic theory and high-reliability soldering and wiring. They also receive hands-on training in installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic and avionics systems.

    Spartan College's AET program offers a combination of classroom theory and hands-on lab training.

    Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology provides training to pilots in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The aviation flight training program and instruction are comprehensive, allowing you to learn the topics and skills necessary to be a safe and qualified pilot. Training to become a pilot at Spartan College will give you the skills and experience necessary to earn multiple Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) part 141 pilot certifications.

    Typical graduates of Spartan College's FAA part 141 approved Aviation Flight program may apply to take the Bachelor of Science in Technology Management program, as well as apply to work as a Certified Flight Instructor. As a result, once they have completed the bachelor's program, flight graduates may have obtained over 1200 flight hours and would be qualified to obtain their restricted Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with the FAA.
