To become an acupuncturist, you must receive a master’s degree in acupuncture, along with your state’s required license. A background in medicine, psychology, biology, or neurobiology are excellent starting points. Clinical internships are requisites, so you’ll need to have your HepB, tuberculosis skin test, and be CPR certified.
