    The Medical Coding and Billing (MCB) program is designed to prepare graduates who are able to review, analyze, abstract and apply and use standardized medical coding systems to health data for such purposes as: billing of third party payers (government agencies and insurance companies) for reimbursement of healthcare services rendered, facilitate statistical classification for researchers, examine utilization patterns for administrators, to name a few.

    You will receive hands-on training as you learn the ins and outs of medical code sets and billing procedures. Upon completion of your diploma, you will be prepared to take the Coding and Billing Entry Level Certification (CBCS) conducted by NHA/ATI, as well as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) Exam conducted by AAPC and the Certified Coding Associate (CCA) conducted by AHIMA.
