Veterinary Assisting
Healthcare & MedicalCarrington College’s Veterinary Assisting program prepares students for the clinical, lab and administrative duties required for entry-level employment as a veterinary assistant. The program concludes in an externship that allows students to practice skills in an actual veterinary health care setting.
Pharmacy Technology
Healthcare & Office AdministrationThe Pharmacy Technology program provides both theory and practical training, which enables technicians, upon licensure*, to function as competent entry-level assistants to a licensed pharmacist. The program offers:
- A combination of formal classroom instruction and hands-on training
- Valuable real-world experience through a clinical externship at an approved local facility
- Preparation for the Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) national certification exam
