This culinary arts program helps you explore the real aspects of a role in an industry kitchen through a classroom setting that is a kitchen — your test kitchen! You can develop a strong foundation of foodservice, operations and management skills and knowledge that can directly transfer to day one in the field.
Your training will span a culinary timeline to include more traditional recipes as well as contemporary cuisine and dishes, based on Auguste Escoffier’s – the father of modern cooking – techniques and methods. Inspired by this timeless artistry, you can refine your own unique culinary style, from preparation methods to plating style.
There is also an online program: Certificate in Escoffier Online Culinary Arts
Our Certificate in Online Culinary Arts program lays the foundation for a comprehensive knowledge of technique fundamentals and business skills. Students are taught through a structured learning model that begins with the basics and ends with a real-world industry externship.
Escoffier's diploma in the Pastry Arts program can ready you for a wide range of entry points into this field in settings such as bakeries, restaurants and hotels. Through the baking and pastry school curriculum, you can learn in small classes mentored by field-experienced chef educators in this nationally accredited diploma program. Students can hone specialized skill areas such as bread and patisserie, or focus on more general pastry cuisine.
