Wartburg College provides the required preprofessional courses for students who intend to enroll in a professional school. In preprofessional study, some students earn a bachelor's degree with a major from Wartburg and then enroll at another institution. In other cases, students enter a professional program before completing the Wartburg College degree and then satisfy requirements for both the Wartburg degree and the professional degree. In most instances, the preprofessional program of study is not a major at Wartburg. Working with an academic adviser is very important when considering a preprofessional program.
