Uncharted Territory Solutions is a veteran-owned healthcare career school with campuses in Houston, Dallas, and Texarkana, Texas, as well as Texarkana, Arkansas. Founded with a mission to help underserved individuals move from minimum wage to a livable wage, the school offers affordable, fast-track healthcare training programs that can be completed in 12 weeks or less.

Programs are available in person and online, giving students the flexibility to train around work and family commitments. Uncharted Territory Solutions is approved by the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) to operate a career school in the state of Texas and is also approved to conduct a Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program (NATCEP) by the Texas Department of Health and Human Services.

  • Phlebotomy
    Healthcare & Medical

    Uncharted Territory Solutions' Phlebotomy program prepares students to draw blood and handle specimens - a key component of patient assessment and diagnosis in any clinical setting. The program prepares students to sit for the National Phlebotomy Exam through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).

    The program is 6 weeks and is available in person or online. Students are required to complete 30 sticks as part of their skills training and must bring a minimum of two individuals to practice on campus. Orientation is required prior to starting.

  • EKG/Telemetry Tech
    Healthcare & Medical

    Uncharted Territory Solutions' EKG/Telemetry Technician program trains students to monitor and interpret electrocardiograms and telemetry data, alerting clinical staff when abnormal heart rhythms are detected. EKG technicians work alongside physicians and healthcare professionals in hospitals, clinics, and cardiac care units.

    The program is 8 weeks and is available entirely online. Orientation is required prior to starting.

  • Patient Care Technician
    Healthcare & Medical

    Uncharted Territory Solutions' Patient Care Technician program prepares students for a hands-on role assisting nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals with basic patient care. Patient Care Technicians are trained to draw blood and conduct EKGs, making them a versatile addition to hospital and clinical teams.

    The program is 8 weeks and is available in person or online. Students must complete a minimum of 40 clinical hours as part of the program. Orientation is required prior to starting.

  • Medical Assistant
    Healthcare & Medical

    Uncharted Territory Solutions' Medical Assistant program prepares students for a versatile role in clinical healthcare settings. Medical Assistants take patient vital signs, conduct in-office screening tests, collect and prepare specimens for laboratory testing, and record medical histories - typically working under the supervision of a provider in a clinic or hospital setting.

    The program is 11 weeks and is available in person or online. Students must complete a minimum of 80 clinical hours as part of the program. Upon completion, students are prepared to sit for the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam through the NHA. Orientation is required prior to starting.

  • Dental Assistant
    Healthcare & Medical

    Uncharted Territory Solutions' Dental Assistant program prepares students to work alongside licensed dentists in the care and treatment of dental patients. The program covers both clinical and administrative dental office skills and includes BLS certification training.

    The program is 11 weeks and is available in person or online. Students are required to complete a 40-hour externship as part of the program. Orientation is required prior to starting.

  • Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)
    Healthcare & Nursing

    Uncharted Territory Solutions' Certified Nurse Aide program prepares students for an entry-level role supporting patients with basic daily tasks under the supervision of a licensed nurse. CNAs are a vital part of any healthcare team, providing hands-on care across hospitals, nursing homes, and other healthcare settings.

    The program is 6 weeks and is available in person or online. Students must complete 40 hours of clinical training as part of the program. Orientation is required prior to starting.

  • Pharmacy Technician
    Healthcare & Office Administration

    Uncharted Territory Solutions' Pharmacy Technician program is a 12-week online course that prepares students for both retail and clinical pharmacy settings. The curriculum covers the skills needed to assist pharmacists with dispensing medications, processing prescriptions, and serving patients effectively. Students prepare to sit for the NHA Pharmacy Technician certification exam upon completion.

    Students should expect to dedicate approximately 20 hours per week to coursework. Orientation is required prior to starting.

  • Medical Administrative Assistant

    Uncharted Territory Solutions' Medical Administrative Assistant program equips students with the administrative skills needed to support the smooth operation of any medical office. Coursework covers medical scheduling, patient communications, health information management, and front office procedures.

    The program is 8 weeks and is available entirely online. Upon completion, students are eligible to sit for the Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) exam through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). Orientation is required prior to starting.

  • Medical Billing and Coding

    Uncharted Territory Solutions' Medical Billing and Coding program provides comprehensive training in one of the fastest-growing areas of healthcare administration. The 200-hour curriculum covers how to code healthcare services and procedures for insurance reimbursement, file claims, and resolve billing issues - skills that are in high demand across hospitals, clinics, and healthcare organizations.

    The program is 12 weeks and is available entirely online. Students should expect to dedicate approximately 15 hours per week to coursework. Upon completion, students are prepared to sit for an entry-level certification in medical billing and coding. Orientation is required prior to starting.
