  • Medical Assistant - Diploma
    Medicine and Health Care

    The Medical Assisting diploma program is designed to prepare students for positions as entry-level medical assistants in a physician’s office, or other medical facilities. This program focuses on providing instruction, through a combination of classroom, laboratory and clinical experiences, in the skills necessary to assist physicians in both the administrative and clinical duties of a medical facility. The program requires a minimum of 51 credit hours to be completed in approximately 10 months.

Medical Assistants work closely with doctors and are often the main point of contact with a patient. Medical Assistants play an important role in a well-managed medical office and have a variety of responsibilities.
