We offer a comprehensive curriculum that provides each student with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to become an entry-level over-the-road truck driver. The program consists of 160 hours of 1 on 1 instruction.
Our program is kept to a class of four students. Keeping classes small allows us to offer better one-on-one time and communication. The program includes classroom instruction, hands-on labs, independent study, and online visual and auditory training. We provide a minimum of 44 hours of behind-the-wheel driving time on a practice range and public roads, and classes are conducted over 4-5 weeks of training. This meets the needs of students with no prior knowledge or experience in truck driving interested in getting a Class A CDL License and a truck driving job.
To prepare students for their permit, we have prepared study guides and practice tests to assist learning and preparation.
Salt Lake Driving Academy is an approved FedEx training provider. In meeting their high driver standards, our program is built to help you achieve their expectations.
You will gain the essential knowledge and practical skills necessary to be qualified as an entry-level, supervised over-the-road driver.
