In smaller practices, Medical Billing and Coding Specialists may also be responsible for greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and overall office support.

    Most Medical Billing and Coding professionals work in physicians' offices, managed healthcare companies, and insurance companies. There are also job opportunities in outpatient care centers, hospitals, medical clinics, and third party billing companies.

  • Physical Therapist Assistant
    Medicine and Health Care

    Most Physical Therapist Assistants work in physical therapy clinics, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, home health care and academia.

    Nursing

    Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) perform a multitude of essential duties under the direction of a physician.

    Most Licensed Practical Nurses work in medical settings such as nursing care facilities, home health care centers, health care provider offices, clinics, hospice facilities, and hospitals.

  • Class A CDL Driving
    Truck Driving, Transportation, and Mechanics

    Obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Training from Professional Skills Institute!

    At Professional Skills Institute, you will gain valuable tools and training including:

    Introduction and Basic Operation

    This course begins by preparing students for the written portion of the CDL test, which is required to obtain a CDL Learner's Permit, which is necessary for the on-road portion of the program. In addition, students will begin hands-on practice, in our driving range, with commercial vehicles, including vehicle inspections and practice backing, parking, and basic driving skills.

    Road and Range

    This course continues the hands-on practice of commercial truck driving. Students complete inspections and practice backing, parking, and driving skills. Students complete skills both on the range and out on the road, including night driving. Students prepare for the skills and driving portions of the Commercial Driver's License exam.

  • Advanced Class A CDL Driving
