Class-A CDL Training
Transportation & Mechanics
Phoenix Truck Driving Institute has been providing students with CDL training for 11 years. If you want to become a professional truck driver we offer the training and testing programs you need to acquire a Class A commercial driver’s license. We offer a combination of classroom, range, and on-the-road training and we can have you driving in as little as 4 weeks.
Our Team
Phoenix Truck Driving Institute employs only experienced drivers as instructors. They've received training in various teaching techniques to ensure the hundreds of students we train each year receive a first-rate education. The friendly and experienced staff members of Phoenix Truck Driving Institute are here to work for you.
Funding Resources
Phoenix Truck Driving Institute has many relationships with agencies throughout Arizona. We can help you work with agencies to potentially receive grants to pay for your CDL.
- Maricopa Workforce Connections
- Workforce Investment Act (WIA)
- Vocational Rehabilitation
- Bureau of Indian Affairs
We are also proud to offer loan programs so students can get started with little up-front cost.
Flexible Schedules
We realize that everyday life can make it difficult to pursue your education. Many of our students have full-time jobs and/or obligations to their families. These responsibilities can’t be put on hold to attend truck driving school. We understand and that is why we try to make it easy for you to obtain your CDL and why we offer day, evening, and weekend classes.
Employment Assistance
Our first-class job placement and career planning program will be an important resource in building your career as a professional truck driver. We begin your job application process while you are still completing CDL training, so you are ready to hit the road right after graduation. Most of our students have job offers prior to completing their education.
Military Benefits
We are proud to be recognized as a Military Friendly School and qualified Veterans and/or transitioning service members can use their GI Bill® to obtain a CDL and prepare for a new career in transportation in the civilian workforce.
