    If you’re thinking of becoming a nurse, our nursing program is comprehensive and designed to give students the clinical and lab skills necessary to become a successful LPN. Our faculty comes from diverse backgrounds within the medical industry, and our on-campus clinical labs provide students with the most real world and technical learning environment possible. Students will also complete training at our clinical partners’ sites so they are better prepared for their career upon entering the workforce.

  • Cosmetology - CERT
    Cosmetology and Wellness

    The Cosmetology Certificate program in Pittsfield, MA qualifies and prepares its graduates for successful passage of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Cosmetology licensing examination, administered by the Board of Registration of Cosmetologists, and successful practice in the field of cosmetology and appearance enhancement. The program is equivalent to 1,000 clock hours of instruction. Students are required to complete a minimum of 1,000 hours distributed among fields required by the Board in order to be eligible to register for the Board licensure examination.

  • Massage Therapy - CERT
    Cosmetology and Wellness

    Campuses: Albany, NY and Pittsfield, MA

    Graduates will possess the depth of knowledge and practical experience from their studies to successfully practice massage therapy. Successfully licensed Mildred Elley graduates will be prepared to obtain employment in hospitals and rehabilitation facilities, residential care facilities, medical, chiropractic, and physical therapy practices, gyms, health clubs, resorts, spas, and other establishments. They will also have the option of entering into solo practice.

Albany, NY & NYC Metro Campuses

Mildred Elley's Albany, New York Campus is approved by the New York State Board of Regents to offer the Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) and Associate in Occupational Studies (A.O.S.) degrees.

Mildred Elley's NYC Metro Campus is approved by the New York State Board of Regents to offer the Associate in Occupational Studies (A.O.S.) degree.

Both campuses are also approved by the New York State Education Department (NYSED), Adult Career and Continuing Education Services-Vocational Rehabilitation (ACCES-VR)—formerly VESID.

Mildred Elley is also registered with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services Office

Mildred Elley - Pittsfield, MA Campus

Mildred Elley's Pittsfield, Massachusetts Campus is licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Office of Private Occupational School Education, Division of Professional Licensure.

Mildred Elley - Pittsfield, MA is also licensed to operate as a Cosmetology school and the Cosmetology program is approved by the Board of Registration of Cosmetologists of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

The campus is also approved for the training of the Veterans of the Armed Forces and JPTA participants.

Mildred Elley’s New York City Metro Campus is a branch campus of the main campus in Albany, New York, and is approved as such by The Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) and the United States Department of Education (US DoE). As a branch campus, the New York City Metro Campus does not offer this program in full, and requires its students to take a portion of coursework in this degree programs at the college’s main campus in Albany, NY; transfer of credit from other accredited institutions; or taking courses through possible cross-registration agreements.
