Laurel's 20-Month Associates Degree in Computer Network Security Technician trains students to install, maintain, manage and enhance computer networks. Students will learn about a variety of operating systems, including Linux, and Windows. This program also includes courses where you will learn to install, configure, maintain, and repair video surveillance, alarms, and other security equipment while conforming to all safety protocols and other relevant codes.

At Laurel, you’ll also spend a semester growing and harvesting food in the on-campus garden, serving in the School Restaurant 'Gigi's Table' and working to create community events that celebrate and engage local farmers and producers. Students will also gain practical experience with these skills through on-the-job training in three separate internship rotations at some of our region's leading culinary providers.

Laurel's Medical Billing & Coding program provides students with the opportunity to gain the knowledge and technical skills necessary for managing health information within the healthcare delivery system.

The online program offers the skills needed to:

Respiratory Therapists are health care specialists who provide care for patients with breathing disorders. Care includes assessment, evaluation, and treatment of patients ranging in age from premature infants to the elderly.

In this program at Laurel, students will start by developing basic medical skills like taking blood pressure and using oxygen delivery devices. Most importantly, you'll develop and sharpen your skills by applying this knowledge in clinical situations throughout the program.

Once graduated, students will be able to take the Therapist Multiple Choice (TMC) Exam, and the Clinical Simulation (CSE) Exam.
