Kinos CDL Academy
Rooted in the trucking industry for years, we've always been driven by one thing: helping commercial drivers build meaningful careers. When 2022 brought new CDL regulations requiring formal professional training, we saw an opportunity to go all in. The demand for qualified instruction was growing fast, and we were ready to meet it.
Why Kinos CDL Academy?
The name "Kinos" is more than a brand — it's personal. The founder, Michael Rangel, earned the nickname from his godson, who as a young child couldn't quite pronounce the Spanish word for godfather, padrino. "Kinos" was the closest he could get, and it stuck. Today, that name is a reminder of the relationships that matter most to us.
By 2024, growing enrollment made one thing clear: it was time to expand. We opened our own on-site testing center, giving students everything they need to earn their CDL in one place — expert instructors and a certified testing facility, all without leaving campus.
In It for the Long Haul
We're not here for a quick transaction — we're here to build lasting relationships. From your first day of training to landing a job you're excited about, we're in your corner. Long after you've earned your CDL, we're still just a call, text, or email away whenever you need us.
Training That Fits Your Life
We know everyone's path looks different. Need a Spanish-speaking instructor? A flexible schedule that works around your responsibilities? Whatever your situation, we'll work with you — not around you. Every student who walks through our doors matters to us as an individual, not a seat to fill.
Real Expertise, Every Step of the Way
Wherever you are in your CDL journey, our certified instructors are equipped to take you further. From Class A and Class B licensing to Hazmat endorsements, skills refreshers, and online coursework — we bring deep industry knowledge and a genuine commitment to helping you build a career that lasts.
