    The Electrical Training Program is designed to provide related training in the electrical trade that will give students the proper course work in safety, Electrical Code, equipment, and knowledge of the trade. This program will provide an overview of electrical occupations, including the training and employment options available in the electrical industry.

  • HVAC Technician
    Building Systems, Construction, and Manufacturing

    The HVAC Technician Program is designed to prepare individuals to specialize in installing and maintaining heating and air-conditioning units in residential homes, retail stores, and other buildings. This program will prepare students to apply technical knowledge and skills to repair, install, service and maintain the operating condition of heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.

  • Business Office Administration
    Business, Marketing, and Communication

    This program provides the necessary knowledge and skills to compete in today’s business environment. The program is designed to provide extensive “hands-on” training with today’s most popular software programs included in Microsoft Office programs. Basic office administration skills are also incorporated into the program including business communication, general office, customer service, human resources, and business law.Offered online.

  • Alcohol & Drug Counseling Studies
    Healthcare Administration

    An Alcohol and Drug Counselor is a competent professional trained to offer alcohol and drug abuse counseling services to those seeking recovery from addiction. The instructional practices within the Alcohol and Drug Counseling Studies program involves counseling fundamentals, addiction treatment and relapse prevention, ethical conduct and relevant laws, pharmacology and the brain, as well as skills-development to enhance personal and professional growth.   • Medical Assistant
    Medicine and Health Care

    This program is designed for those students who desire knowledge and skills in both administrative front office and clinical back office. The program is designed to provide students with extensive and comprehensive training in body structure and the functions of the various body systems. Students will develop a working knowledge of specimen collection and various laboratory procedures to include infection control, EKG, injections, and sterilization. Students will also learn proper techniques in assisting in minor surgical procedures and preparation of patients for diagnostic tests.

  • Pharmacy Technician
    Medicine and Health Care

    A Pharmacy Technician works intimately with a licensed pharmacist to facilitate the increasing demands of patients needs in pharmaceuticals. The pharmacy technician courses at InterCoast will prepare you up to be a capable Pharmacy Technician, proficient in communicating on a professional level with the public during patient consultation; understanding the medical language as it relates to pharmacology, anatomy, and physiology; dispensing medications in varying forms; as well as learning appropriate record-keeping, adhering to the applicable healthcare laws and ethics.
