In addition to offering general education and professional programs at the diploma level, HCI College also offers Associate of Science Degrees in healthcare, specifically in the nursing and paramedic fields. These programs are designed to instill the knowledge and skills of professional practice, as well as foster the values of higher education and social responsibility. We not only employ a faculty and staff comprised of experienced paramedics, firefighters, and nurses in the classroom setting, but your journey will also include hands-on experience with seasoned healthcare professionals in the pre-hospital and hospital arenas.

  • Medical Assisting
    Medicine and Health Care

    The Medical Assisting diploma program is a 36-credit hour course that can be completed in as little as 10 months at our Fort Lauderdale campus. Classes are taught both on campus and online using a hybrid delivery method. This Medical Assisting training program provides students with both clinical and administrative experiences for entry level employment as a Medical Assistant.

    The Medical Assisting training program at HCI College is designed to prepare students for positions as entry-level medical assistants in a physician’s office, or other medical facilities. This program focuses on providing instruction, through a combination of classroom, laboratory and clinical experiences, in the skills necessary to assist physicians in both the administrative and clinical duties of a medical facility. Upon successful completion of the program a diploma is granted.

    • Veterinary Assisting - Diploma
      Medicine and Health Care

      The Veterinary Assisting diploma program is a 35-credit hour program that can be completed in as little as 10 months. This program provides veterinary assisting students the opportunity to take classes both on campus and online using a hybrid learning environment. This program is designed to prepare students for entry-level employment as an assistant to a veterinarian or Veterinary Technician. HCI College’s Veterinary Assisting program covers the essential skills you need to be part of this fast-growing industry.

    • Nursing - Associate Degree
      Nursing

      This degree program focuses on: wellness of self and others; technical nursing skills across the life span in acute care facilities, long-term care facilities and the community environment; critical care concepts; and professional development. Upon graduation, the student is awarded an associate in science degree (A.S.) and is eligible to take the National Council Licensing Exam (NCLEX) to become a registered nurse (RN).

      The Nursing program at HCI College is committed to providing the best education for students seeking an Associate of Science Degree (A.S.) in Nursing. The program is designed to provide educational and clinical experiences leading to employment in beginning positions as registered nurses in hospitals or comparable facilities.
