FMCSA implemented new Entry Level Driver Training regulations on February 7, 2022 that requires any one wishing to obtain a CDL to complete mandatory driver training. Future Truckers can help your employees meet these ELDT requirements by customizing a training schedule that will allow your employees to train and continue to work. North Carolina truck driving schools require an enrolled student to complete 160 hours of training in no less than a 16 day period. This training period more than exceeds the ELDT requirements to obtain a CDL.
