    The Electrical Diploma Program prepares the student with technical skills and practical knowledge to perform installation tasks, services, and repairs in the electrical trade. Graduates from this program will be able to fi­ll positions as an electrician helper for services and construction ­firms in residential, commercial and industrial businesses associated with the electrical trade industry. Students are eligible for certification of completion for: OSHA 10 Training Course, NCCER Core Curriculum, NCCER Electrical Level 1, 2, and 3.

    A total of 720 contact hours is required and divided into 200 lecture hour and 520 lab hours. Employment opportunities include Electrician’s Helper/apprentice (residential. Commercial, and industrial electrical systems), and Maintenance and Repair Workers.

  • HVAC/R with PLC - Diploma

    The HVAC/R with PLC Diploma Program offers students the technical and practical knowledge and skills to perform heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning maintenance, installations, and repairs. Students will also learn basic skills related to the programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Graduates from this program will be able to fill positions at construction firms, as well as residential and commercial refrigeration and air conditioning companies.

    Students are eligible to take the following certification tests: EPA 608 Universal and OSHA 10. A total of 920 contact hours is required and divided into 500 lecture hours and 420 lab hours. Employment opportunities include HVAC Mechanic, A/C Tech, HVAC Installer, HVAC Service Technician, Systems Maintenance Mechanic.

  • HVAC/R - Diploma
    Building Systems, Construction, and Manufacturing

    The Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVAC/R) Diploma Program prepares students with the knowledge and necessary skills to develop efficient and safety-minded technicians that will be able to fill an entry level position in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning field. In addition, they will acquire the necessary skills, to perform installation tasks, service, and repairs for commercial and residential heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning equipment.

    Students are eligible to take the following certification tests: EPA 608 Universal and OSHA 10. A total of 740 contact hours is required and divided into 400 lecture hours and 340 lab hours. Employment opportunities include HVAC Mechanic, A/C Tech, HVAC Installer, HVAC Service Technician, Systems Maintenance Mechanic.

  • Construction Management - Bachelor's Degree
    Building Systems, Construction, and Manufacturing

    In the Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management program students will be prepared to develop a career as Construction Managers. Students will analyze the management, supervision, direction, and coordination of the construction process. They will examine the importance of safety on site, prevention, personnel management, and investigation of accidents in diverse facilities. Students will debate the building construction codes and regulations. In addition, they will demonstrate knowledge of effective communication, project management, budgeting, scheduling, and logistics. Students are eligible for certification of completion for: OSHA 10 Training Course, and LEED Green Associate.

    A total of 184-215 quarter credits is required and divided into 16 courses upper level, 12 courses concentration tracks and 8 courses general education. Employment opportunities include Construction Manager, Project Manager, and Project Supervisor.

    Admission Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or a recognized equivalent
    • A student must first successfully complete a construction trades (Electrical, Electrical with PLC, Heating Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC/R), HVAC with PLC, Welding, or other) Diploma or higher, from either FTC or another accredited institution, as a prerequisite for enrolling in the Bachelor of Science in Construction Management program.

  • Medical Assistant Technician - Diploma
    Medicine and Health Care

    The Medical Assistant Technician Diploma Program is designed to prepare students to obtain entry-level employment as medical assistant technicians. This program offers students the opportunity to learn the necessary knowledge and skills both in the classroom and in a supervised clinical practice. The students also learn how to prepare patients for various technical examinations, such as EKG’s and phlebotomies, as well as how to perform several such procedures. Students are eligible for certification for: National Certified Medial Assistant (NCMA) from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).

    A total of 740 contact hours is required and divided into 220 lecture hours, 420 lab hours, and 100 externship hours. Employment opportunities Clinical Assistant, Lab Technician, Optometric Assistant, and Registered Medical Assistant

  • Medical Assistant Technician with Emphasis in Basic X-Ray - Diploma
    Medicine and Health Care

    The Medical Assistant Technician with Emphasis in Basic X-Ray Diploma program prepares students with the knowledge and skills to perform medical assistant with basic x-ray responsibilities. The student will acquire the necessary skills, to perform under the supervision of a physician, to provide medical office administrative services and perform clinical duties including patient intake and care, routine diagnostic, and basic x-ray procedures. Students will be able to prepare the patient for various examinations, including x-rays, electrocardiograms, and phlebotomy.

    The Business Office Specialist diploma program prepares students with the knowledge and necessary skills to perform various business operational functions using office equipment and computer software to manage technical administrative tasks in multiple office environments. Students will develop customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills to function appropriately in an office environment.

    The durations of the program is 9 months and 40.5 quarter credits. The employment opportunities are Office Clerks, Executive Assistant, Data Entry Clerk, and Administrative/Office Assistant.

    The Bachelor’s Degree program in Business-Entrepreneurship, Management,

    and Marketing is comprised of a combination of courses that provide skills in areas such as, capital planning, strategic management, leadership, organizational behavior, and internet marketing. This program is designed to prepare a student for a career as an entrepreneur, manager, and/or marketing professional.

    The duration of the program is 36 months and 180 quarter credits. The employment opportunities are Business and Retail Operations, Financial Analyst and Services, Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist, Administrative Assistant and Executive Assistant, and Banking, General and Operational Management.

  • IT with Emphasis in Cybersecurity - Bachelor's Degree

    The Bachelor Degree program in Information Technology with emphasis in Cybersecurity introduces students to a variety of topics, such as assessing the security vulnerability of computer and network systems, various computer and network safeguarding solutions, and managing the implementation and maintenance of security devices, systems, procedures and counter measures. As a graduate of the program, students will be prepared for an entry-level career as an information support analyst, junior ethical hacker, or network and security support analyst related jobs.

  • Computer Support Technician - Diploma
    Computer, Information, and Technology

    The Computer Support Technician Diploma program prepares students to demonstrate proficiency in providing technical support and assisting users in troubleshooting, performing technical and system diagnostics, and making the necessary repairs. Students will examine computer concepts, information systems, networking, operating systems, computer hardware, software applications and the Internet. They will analyze the principles of customer service and the importance of problem solving and help desk supportive service. Students will develop the skills necessary to obtain an entry-level position in the field and prepare them to challenge the CompTIA A+ certification.

    The duration of the program is 9 months and 576 total contact hours is required. The credits are divided into 288 lecture hours, and 288 lab hours, 54 credits. Employment opportunities: Help Desk Technician, Customer Service Specialists, and Computer User Support Specialists.
