Faust Institute of Cosmetology

We offer three programs: Cosmetology, Esthetics and Nail Technology. We were founded in 1980, by Ann Smith in Storm Lake, IA. She brought a wealth of information and experience to the new students and staff. Faust Institute was then opened in 1990, in Spirit Lake, IA. The Spirit Lake campus continues to thrive while educating hundreds of students to enter a professional career in the beauty industry.

Because we are a smaller school, we pride ourselves in the personal attention we are able to give our students. Our current student to instructor ratio is 4:1. We feel this aids in the quality of education that our licensed instructors provide each day, as well as allows each student the extra individual attention they sometimes need.Financial aid is available to those who qualify. Classes are only available on campus.
