Emmanuel Christian Seminary at Milligan is a graduate seminary located near Johnson City, Tennessee, in the heart of the spectacular Blue Ridge Mountains. Established in 1965, the school seeks to fulfill the mission of the Church by preparing men and women for effective ministry.
"At Emmanuel, we’re committed to the lordship of Jesus Christ, the authority of Scripture, and the vision of Christian unity arising from the work of such thinkers as Thomas and Alexander Campbell and Barton W. Stone. Though students from a variety of denominational backgrounds come to study at Emmanuel Christian Seminary, the school has a relationship with churches of the Stone-Campbell Tradition (Disciples of Christ; Christian churches/churches of Christ; and Church of Christ)."
Emmanuel offers four degrees in order to help our students learn to become effective ministers of the Gospel: Master of Divinity, Master of Arts in Religion, Master of Arts in Christian Ministries, and Doctor of Ministry. Classes available on campus as well as online. Financial aid available to those who qualify.
