Upon completion of orientation students will be assigned a mentor to begin their OTR training. Once assigned to their mentor’s truck, students will receive a $550 bonus. Student driver should anticipate being out with a mentor for approximately 3-5 weeks. Student pay is $550 a week and begins the day the student is assigned to the trainer truck. Students are paid every Friday and direct deposit is available.
While in training, students are on their trainer’s schedules and should expect to be gone a minimum of 2-3 weeks at a time. Once training is completed and students promote to a qualified driver, they are able to set their own schedule. The minimum time out we can accommodate at this time has our drivers OTR for 10 days at a time.
Qualified driver pay starts at $.38 a mile and are reviewed for an increase to $.40 after 6 months. Solo drivers with Eagle average 2500 miles a week.
