Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) opened in 1963 as Ohio's first community college and remains Ohio's oldest and largest public community college. For more than 50 years Tri-C has provided high quality, affordable education and programs to more than 900,000 members of the community. Each semester Tri-C offers more than 1,000 credit courses in more than 200 career and technical programs and liberal arts curricula. Tri-C also grants Short-Term Certificates, Certificates of Proficiency and Post-Degree Professional Certificates. Classes available online as well as day and night on campus. Financial aid available to those who qualify.

    The Associate Degree in Restaurant and Food Service Management provides the education, experience and industry networking needed to start a hospitality management career. The hospitality industry is among the largest and fastest growing in the world, offering opportunities for ambitious students who enjoy working with people. Graduates are well prepared to enter as a supervisor or management candidate in restaurants, hotel food and beverage departments or commercial/contract food service operations. Coursework includes an emphasis on culinary management and supervision, menu planning, purchasing, cost control, and human resources training. In addition to classroom instruction, students get hands-on restaurant management experience in both the kitchen and dining rooms of our student-run restaurants.
