    Building Systems, Construction, and Manufacturing

    BTI’s comprehensive Electrical program helps prepare you for an entry-level position in the residential and commercial Electrical field. We combine classroom-style education with hands-on learning to prepare you for what a career in Electrical will be like once you graduate. With enrollment starting on a rolling basis and programs that can be completed in 10 months, your dream career is in your near future! By the end of our program, you can be prepared to be a service technician capable of troubleshooting, servicing and repairing residential and commercial electrical systems meeting the National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER) standards.

  • HVAC and Basic Refrigeration - Diploma
    Building Systems, Construction, and Manufacturing

    Offering the opportunity for training under industry professionals, BTI's HVAC and Basic Refrigeration program can prepare you for entry-level employment as an installer, repairer or service technician in property management, industrial organizations or service industries. In as little as 40 weeks, you can learn the skills necessary to work in the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration industry that can also prepare you to take the EPA section 608 certification and Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES) technician certification exams. In order to enroll in BTI's HVAC-R program, you must have a high school diploma or GED.

  • Business Administration - Associate in Specialized Business

As a result, our Business Administration curriculum prepares you to seek entry-level management opportunities. You’ll learn basic accounting, finance, marketing techniques and much more. With our career-focused classes and hands-on training, you’ll not only gain the knowledge necessary to start a new career, but you can also be a leader at your next position.

    In our Business Administration program, you’ll learn key business principles and gain experience in aspects of business management including finance, marketing, human resources and more. By the time you graduate, you’ll have the skills needed to manage employees, maintain financial records and understand the day-to-day operations of a business. We’ll teach you:

    • Management principles including leadership, ethics and small business management

  • IT Support Specialist - Associate in Specialized Technology

    The focus of our IT Support Specialist program is to teach students the skills needed to become a competent and successful information technology (IT) professional. This program covers all aspects of IT, including building computers, configuring equipment such as routers and issue troubleshooting techniques. Courses in this program include:

    • Practical Computer Applications - This course provides practical computer and general administrative skills required to utilize the computer as a tool in an office or clinical environment. Students will gain confidence in the use of the internet, email, productivity software, and associated computer hardware and software. The course will utilize a number of projects to reinforce the functionality and flexibility of the computer.
    • Application and Database Concepts - This course prepares students to cover introductory concepts underlying the design and implementation of databases and database applications. Will also include Object Databases, Security, XML, SQL, MYSQL, Data Mining, and Web Service topics. A hand’s on approach will also be provided giving students an opportunity to install and work with a database application, implement technical concepts such as database design, query processing, transaction processing and lead to an overall basic and introductory understanding of SQL and Oracle. Students will be prepared to take the MTA 98-364 Exam in Database Administration upon successful completion of this course.
    • Certification Review - This course will review the overall competencies and objectives related to the CompTIA Network+ and Microsoft MCSA in Windows 7 and Windows Enterprise Desktop Support Technician Exams.
