As a student, you will prepare for relevant credentialing where applicable.

Pharmacy TechnicianMedicine and Health Care

This program is built to the guidelines of the American Society of Health System Pharmacists (ASHP). It’s designed to prepare you to play a major role in pharmacy operations. You’ll gain knowledge in pharmacy calculations, drug distribution systems, and preparation of sterile dosage forms.

During the clinical portion of the program, you’ll complete a minimum of 120 cases of various surgical specialties in the first and second scrub roles while supervised by a clinical instructor. This program is designed to prepare you to work as a competent, entry-level surgical technologists with the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills) and affective (behavior) skills.
Medical Billing and CodingHealthcare Administration
As a medical billing and coding specialist, you’ll keep the business aspects of a healthcare facility running smoothly. Your ability to properly bill and code medical procedures will help healthcare facilities positively serve their patients.
Upon successful completion of this program, you’ll be able to proficiently identify components and use correct medical terminology of body systems, utilize proper ICD-10-CM/CPT/HCPCS coding, and determine the correct application of health insurance forms and documents.
